Frequencies and Channels

This page contains the official CWARC Frequencies, channels, etc.   It also contains some regional information for Ham (VHF/UHF/HF), GMRS, CB and Meshtastic radio.  Scroll to the bottom to see a list of local and regional nets (UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

CB:  

  • Channel 14 AM
  • Channel 36 Lower Sideband (LSB)

GMRS: 

  • Channel 7.  No DCS or CTCSS codes.
  • Repeater:  Channel 17, ctcss 100.0.  This repeater belongs to the WYAME radio club, and has antennas pointed at Riverton and Lander.  If you find this repeater useful, consider making a donation to WYAME.

Meshtastic

  • Solar Nodes are located in Hudson and Riverton, with one at a temporary location in Lander.  Several mobile club nodes are being used by members.  Look for anything With a long name of CWARC.club## or with a short name of ARC## or AR##.  Feel free to use these with your Meshtastic Devices.  If you find them useful, please consider joining the club or making a donation for maintenance and new nodes.
  • CWARC has a private chat channel.  If you are a club member, contact us at info(at)cwarc.club for the public key.

CWARC Amateur Radio (Ham) Repeaters (Thanks to W0KGB for letting us use his!)

  • W0KGB Lander Repeater 442.200+, CTCSS tone 131.8
  • W0KGB Copper Mountain Repeater 444.375+,  CTCSS tone 131.8.
    • 147.435 acts as a remote input for the Copper Mountain repeater, and the VHF frequency covers the Lander valley.
  • W0KGB Beaver Rim  442.000+, CTCSS tone 131.8 (Down for maintenance through summer 2026)
  • CWARC Mobile Repeater 442.700+ CTCSS tone 100.00 (Mobile unit for field operations.  Not always running)

  • NWARC Copper Mountain    146.805-  FM  CTCSS tone 100.0 - Linked.  Coverage from Southern MT to Casper.
  • FCARS    145.445 - FM   CTCSS Tone 110.9 - Lander airport.  Lander area coverage.
  • LURK A    441.670+                  FM, D-Star, C4FM    No CTCSS
    LURK C    446.670 Simplex       FM, D-Star, C4FM    No CTCSS
    LURK D    147.555 Simplex       FM, D-Star, C4FM    No CTCSS
  • WyAME-2M  145.115- FM   CTCSS tone 100.0 - Located on Griffy Hill near Riverton Airport.  Good Coverage.

  • 146.820 - FM CTCSS Tone 100.0
