- There will be no regular club meeting in December.
- Dominick Weigel has appointed Tara Stueckler (KD7DTV) to act as interim treasurer while he attends to vital family business. The appointment has been reviewed and approved by the club President, Hannes Stueckler.
- Turkey Raffle (TS KD7DTV): A juicy and formerly well tempered and popular 16lb home grown turkey will be raffled; ticket books are available for club members to sell; drawing will be on Dec. 20; ticket prices are $5/ticket or $20/5 tickets. - The club elections will be held at the February 2026 club meeting. All Nominations must be in by the January 2026 club meeting.
- The cost for 2026 membership is $25 for an individual or $40 for a family. It will be due in January. The membership year is from January to December.
- Meetings will be held on the third Saturday of each month whenever possible.
- Several Meshtastic Nodes have been operating in Lander, Hudson and Riverton. We are moving forward quickly to expand the mesh network in the area by deploying our club nodes and encouraging others to do the same. It is likely that we will be able to link all three towns by spring.
- GMRS Repeater. (HS KJ7VWV): The operating channel was changed from 22 to 20 (frequency 462.6750 MHz) with a CTCSS code of 141.3 to avoid potential interference with heavy local usage on channel 22 by a local Riverton contractor. It will require duplexer retuning by the manufacturer.
- Dana Site. (DM KM7CJR): Under the Memorandum of Understanding between CWARC and Dana; CWARC is required to build a chain link fence around the repeater area; DM is managing the project; Dennis is managing the construction; about 30 support poles will be required to support the fence; Dec 6 is the designated first working day; outdoor cabinets will house the repeater equipment; a provisional goal is to build the fence before the end of this year; there is no completion deadline.
- Portable Repeater. (CB AI7RZ): The repeater components were tested over a two week period and worked properly; for the last two weeks two mockup mounting boards were tried and adapted; the next steps are to install case side rails to support the board, Caleb will measure for and build cables; DM will build the final mockup board for confirmation of layout; DM will select and contract with a third party to create the operational mounting board; install the final board and the antenna and power ports.
- Network Analyzers. (HS KJ7VWV) There are three from the estate that are available to club members for testing and experimenting. They are Motorola Model R-2260. Some paper manuals are available.
- Ken Miller site on Griffy Hill (MH M7MOH): Discussions are underway with the City of Riverton for the use of this site. There are some complications with the existing equipment and contacting the previous owner, but it is expected to be resolved fairly easily.
