In case you couldn't attend:

In addition to the minutes below,

  • We had an education session on the new JS8Call Subspace mode for high speed digital over-the-air communication.  Learn more about it at: https://www.qrz.com/db/WM8Q
  • We learned about and practiced using the ICS-213 standard communication form for passing messages over the air.  Learn more about it here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHNnwu-e60U .  A list of the common prowords and their use can be found here:  https://www.keahl.org/emcomm/nets-communications/79-prowords.  Expect a club net in the future where we practice receiving and sending with the form.
  • We are organizing a meshtastic "net" on Wednesday evenings.  It isn't set in stone, but we will try for 7pm on Wednesdays over the LongFast channel.  You can participate by watching for requests for check-ins, and replying  with "checking in".  You can also add your name, location, and a message for the net if you would like.  Net control will send an acknowledgement that you were heard.
