This year's field day was fun for all who attended. Paul made 16 DX contacts while we were set up. We tuned a home made dual band antenna. The doughnuts were heavenly and the pizza was spectacular.
More important than all of that, we had several non hams stop by and talk about radio with us. We signed up new members, and we had great conversations in general. There was a spirit of friendship, cooperation and mutual learning, which is what we hoped this would be.
I'll share some pictures and statistics when I get them. If you have pictures, please get them to me as soon as you can so we can put them on the website and social media.
Moving forward from here, it is time to support our new members with education and more friendship. I'll share my plan soon so you have time to think about it before we discuss it at the next meeting.
If you attended, thank you. If you couldn't make it, know that you are part of a great club which will only get better and better.
Sincerely,
Hannes Stueckler KJ7VWV,
