Practice NVIS HF communications in Wyoming.
A specific day and time frame for all amateurs and specifically emergency communications team members to get on the air and experiment with NVIS (Near Vertical Incidence Skywave) antenna configurations. With a focus on local and regional contacts as would be expected in an emergency.
The goal is to provide operators around WY and CO with a large group of operators to gather contact distances and signal reports from their NVIS station.
